Why I'm an Official Partner of the Baddest Bartender in the Bay 2026

On Monday, July 27, 2026, the Egypt Shrine Event Center in Tampa turns into the center of Florida's hospitality universe: the Baddest Bartender in the Bay 2026 Competition & Expo, put on by the Bar Almighty Events team. Burley Sells Florida is proud to be an Official Partner - and I want to tell you why this one matters to me.

What's going down July 27

• Florida's premier hospitality competition - bartenders and bar teams competing in front of industry judges and a crowd of 1,000+
• $5,000+ in cash and prizes on the line, with limited competitor spots (first come, first served)
• Vendor exhibits, brand showcases, workshops, and guest speakers - plus real networking with owners, managers, and decision makers
• An official after-party, because it's still a hospitality event
• Free on-site parking at the Egypt Shrine Event Center, 5017 E Washington St, Tampa

You don't need to be a bartender to come - servers, managers, owners, suppliers, students, and anyone who loves this industry is welcome.

Why a Realtor® is sponsoring a bartender competition

Real estate runs on relationships, and nobody builds relationships like hospitality people. The bartenders and servers competing on July 27 are the same people who keep Tampa Bay running every single night - and a lot of them have been told, or quietly believe, that homeownership isn't built for people paid the way they're paid.

That's wrong. Tip income can count toward mortgage qualification when it's properly documented. If you pour drinks, wait tables, or manage a bar and you've written off owning a home, that's exactly the conversation I want to have with you - at the event or any time after.

Come find me

I'll be there all day. Come talk homes, talk tips-to-mortgage math, or just talk Tampa Bay. And get on the list for the giveaways on my community page before the event.
